About Us

UMMETRO-CSIRT (Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro Computer Security Incident Response Team) is a team responsible for cybersecurity at Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro. The team is established to respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents, as well as protect digital assets, sensitive data, and the university's reputation. UMMETRO-CSIRT envisions creating a secure cyber environment that is resilient to threats and responsive to incidents, with the goal of maintaining the security of the university's systems and information. The team provides services such as cybersecurity alerts, incident handling, and various additional cybersecurity services. UMMETRO-CSIRT also collaborates with various internal and external entities to mitigate risks and provide training and awareness on cybersecurity to university members.

Services

UMMETRO-CSIRT provides primary and additional services to maintain cybersecurity in the Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro environment. Primary services include providing cybersecurity alerts to owners or users of electronic systems and handling cybersecurity incidents with coordination, analysis, technical recommendations, and on-site assistance. Meanwhile, additional services include handling electronic system vulnerabilities, digital artifact handling, notifying potential threat observations, detecting attacks, analyzing cybersecurity risk, providing consultation on incident readiness, and building awareness and concern for cybersecurity. All these services are designed to offer comprehensive solutions in facing cybersecurity challenges and mitigating incident risks in the university environment.
